About me
Born and raised in Germany, my introduction to photography happened on my 15th birthday, when I received a Minolta SLR as a present from my parents. Since my father enjoyed photography, he thought I might do so also. He was right! My family always enjoyed traveling and the camera was a great way to document my trips in Europe, Canada, USA, Hong Kong and Taiwan, as well my first trip to Kenya in 1993.
Switching to digital a few years ago gave my love for photography a new boost. No more worries about the cost of film! My main interest had always been nature and travel photography. The opportunity to participate in workshops with well-known nature photographer Art Wolfe changed the way I approach my photography and made me look at the world around me with new eyes.
Now living in Rochester, MA I also enjoy riding my Iberian warmblood mare and taking my Corgi for long walks.
